Wii

The Wii has been around for some time now and still provides entertainment through the use of wireless controls. The Wii has come out with numerous games to play, as well as bringing back many old favorites that were originally seen on the Nintendo. However, the new games have new features, levels and advanced options that could never have been seen on the Nintendo. The Wii features:

  • The remote fits in the palm of the hand and controls all the functions of the games through movement while holding the controller. The controller has additional covers that can be added to it, depending on the game that is being played. There is a sensor that is placed on the top of the TV that connects with the remote to follow a person’s movement.
  • The Wii provides unlimited games and many games can be purchased online, since the Wii does connect to the internet and these can be downloaded and stored in the Wii memory or on an SD card that can be added to the Wii. The games include everything from sports and fitness to arcade games and adventure.
  • There is the Miis feature that includes the Mii Channel and users can add an avatar character. These are downloaded and added to the channel. Users can create avatars or used the downloaded ones.
  • The Wii offers an online experience as well. There is news and weather, as well as such programs as Netflix that can be downloaded and streamed live from the Wii. Games can be played both at home, as well as online. Users can also surf the internet through the Wii console.
